Community Sharps Service
There are more than 7,500 diabetics in the Shire. Sutherland Shire Council provides a free and safe disposal service for diabetic needles, lancets, pen needles and sharps via several locations throughout the Shire.
Please seal all sharps into a screw top, strong plastic container or a sharps container available from Diabetes Australia NSW.
Note: Some of the following sites, the sites marked with an asterisk * will accept fluorescent light globes, but not tubes.
